What do YOU care about? 🧐

Hey Reader,

Truth is, consumers want to interact with brands that care about the same issues they do.

Whether it’s helping the environment, reducing stress, or supporting marginalized populations…

I have an inkling your brand cares about more than turning a profit. I know because every day we work with passionate business owners determined to make a difference in their communities, for their teams, and for their customers. Chances are, you have a fire like that in you too.

But the only way your people will know your values is if you talk about them online.

This can feel daunting. Questions might bubble up like…

  • What if we come across as disingenuous?”
  • “My business just does X—what does that have to do with these bigger issues?”
  • “Is what we’re doing enough to be worth talking about online?”

These are very real concerns to have. But, with some planning, you can talk about the big stuff in a way that’s authentic and inspiring.

If you need support, we’re here to help you stand out online by leading with diversity, sustainability, or equality. Whatever fuels your brand’s heart and soul.

Anyway, I’d love to know. What’s something you care about deeply that you wish your audience knew? Hit reply and fill me in.

Hazel

Hi Reader, We just hosted our second annual International Women’s Day Soirée, and let me tell ya, it was a good one. But let’s talk about the lightbulb moment I had when I looked through all the registrations. Practically every person who registered had championed me, worked with me, or attended one of our other events—or vice versa. In some way, shape, or form, we go back. This is a common theme with Drio’s clients too. We can trace nearly every lead back to someone who referred us because...

Hi Reader, If you’re a minority-owned business, have you ever wondered: “How should I showcase my diversity in our marketing?” I believe you should always put a little “you” into your business’s online presence. Not only do you owe it to yourself—but doing so can help support visibility for those who share your identity. 🌟 Of course, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. Maybe your diversity naturally shows up in your marketing, and you rally around causes that support your community, but...
